South Korea’s Gyeonggi Province will host the world’s first “International Data Sovereignty Forum 2021” as a virtual event on September 8. Under the slogan “My data, my right”, the forum aims to further develop the data sovereignty policy of the province and to publicize the sovereignty of the data of individuals. According to Gyeonggi Province at the July 28 press conference, the “Data Sovereignty International Forum 2021” will be held on September 8 as a virtual event (DSIF2021.com).
Together with overseas local governments, Gyeonggi Province is hosting the International Data Sovereignty Forum under the slogan “My Data, My Rights”.
