CBDC deployment in India is likely this exercise with wholesale companies


The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) plans to introduce its Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) this fiscal year in a phased manner, initially intended for use by wholesale businesses only, and designs it in a way that leaves no room for anonymity by its users, sources said.
